Borescopes and Fiberscopes can be used as stand alone inspection systems, although almost all Borescope and Fiberscopes are compatible with SnakeCam. The Red Box ScopeCam will attach directly to the SnakeCam system, to attach all other Borescopes and Fiberscopes to the SnakeCam system you will need to purchase a C mount camera and coupler.

Red Box ScopeCam (attaches direct to SnakeCam)

The ScopeCam offers an economic solution to accessing small diameter holes. It is a 1m long stayput, flexible camera, it has auto focus and produces an extremely good image. The ScopeCam is an ideal tool for engineers.

Classic Flexible

The Red Box Hawkeye Flexible borescopes contain a 1 meter long glass-fibre imaging bundle with 18,000 fibres delivering high-resolution images. Acid leaching of the bundle increases image contrast by creating space between the fibres to prevent light from spilling from one to the other. The plastic-coated, metal "gooseneck" sheath can take a "set" before insertion into a cavity. The Red Box Hawkeye Flexible borescope is simpler, brighter, and less expensive than articulated fiberscopes.

The 90° Mirror Tip adapts to the Red Box Hawkeye Flexible borescope to convert the direction-of-view from 0° to 90°. The mirror adapter threads on and therefore is quite secure. Outside diameter with 90° Mirror Tip in place is 0.320".

The Red Box Hawkeye Flexible Kit contains a Red Box Hawkeye Flexible borescope, with 0° direction-of-view, a 90° Mirror Tip, a Red Box Hawkeye Nova Light with Xenon lamp, a NiCd battery and charger and a rugged, lockable, aluminum case.

Pro Flexible Kits

Red Box Hawkeye Pro Flexible borescopes incorporate an 18,000 fibre, acid-leached imaging bundle, delivering truly excellent image resolution, sharpness, detail, and contrast. Lower cost alternatives do not deliver image quality nearly this high. Pro Flexibles also offer 2-way articulation! Control the direction-of-view (DOV) of the tip over a 240° range (±120°), in a single plane, using a thumb lever on the aluminium borescope body. The lever can also be locked to hold a particular view.

Due to newly advanced optical design and construction, Red Box Hawkeye Pro Flexibles are now available in diameters of 3.3, 4.0, and 5.0 mm. The 3.3 mm can look inside very small bores, and navigate tight bends. The 4.0 mm is perfect for specialised applications like aircraft and helicopter maintenance inspection. The whole line of Pro Flexibles are either tungsten or stainless sheathed and each scope comes complete with the powerful, rechargeable SuperNOVA Light. The Red Box Hawkeye Pro Flexible sets a new standard of excellence in quality and functionality, at a very reasonable price.

Pro MicroFlex

10,000 fibre bundle for very good image quality in such a small diameter package. Swap the eyepiece with the supplied video adapter to use on a C-Mount camera. The flexible 19" or 39" working length scopes use a plastic sheath to make them more slippery in narrow twisting paths. The Semi-Rigid scopes have 6" working length, a stainless steel sheath and are available in a 0° and 90° direction-of-view.

All of the MicroFlex and Semi-Rigid borescopes use our standard light post, making them compatible with any of the Red Box Hawkeye light sources. Recommended lighting is the Red Box Hawkeye SuperNOVA for portable use or the Luxxor 24 light source for video.

A C-mount Direct Video adapter is included with each Red Box Hawkeye semi-rigid borescope. Just unscrew the eyecup, screw on the C-mount adapter and attach to your C-mount video camera. The Luxxor 24 or 50 light source is recommended for use with video.

Flexible articulating borescopes are key products in the new Red Box Hawkeye Blue line. These instruments are ideal for specialised applications such as inspection of castings, bent tubes, turbine blades, engine blocks and turbochargers.
