The SnakeCam is a remarkable high quality low cost inspection tool, which offers users a flexible solution to a variety of situations. The basic kit comprises of a camera with inbuilt LED's, TFT-LCD hand-held display monitor and Rigid Wand Adaptor, with 90° swivel capability.

SnakeCam is a completely potable system, with a modular design offering multiple accessories to ensure its efficient and effective use within a multitude of testing conditions.

The equipment is completely autonomous allowing independent usage. It has the capability to record direct to a laptop or camcorder, (depending on which display monitor is used) to upload pictures, and add voice tags. The camera and accessories are waterproof to a depth of 30m (100 foot).

The standard camera has inbuilt LED lights providing the ability to operate in complete darkness, while an Infra Red Camera is also available as an accessory.

The standard SnakeEye display unit is very compact and has a rotating screen so that, regardless of the camera orientation, the picture can always be viewed “head up”. Images can be downloaded for record purposes or for transmission to manufacturers.

The SnakeEye display unit has the ability to capture images and record voice data. By inserting an SD card you can take high quality pictures, zoom in, add voice tags, rotate and flip the image. This data can easily be transferred to your PC by either inserting your SD card into the PC or connecting the display monitor directly to the PC via a USB cable. The SnakeEye display unit is also waterproof to a depth of 6 metres.

Both SnakeEye display units are protected by a Lexan outer cover.

With cable lengths of up to 500 metres, extendable poles up to 7.8 metre, and many other accessories, SnakeCam can be used for a large variety of hard to reach inspections. SnakeCam can be easily attached to any model of Borescope or Fiberscope for seeing through small apertures.

Breakdown Services

SnakeCam is ideal for breakdown companies to quickly and efficiently check the vehicle. The gooseneck and wand can allow a quick and easy inspection of the engine, or the underneath of the car allowing an instant diagnosis of a problem. Bridge Inspection

The SnakeCam is used to check structural integrity of bridges and overpasses. This allows the checks to be undertaken without the need to close roads or bridges. The 1.9 – 7.8 metre extendable carbon fibre pole accessory enables checks to be carried out safely and quickly even for higher points of the structure.

Councils

Various Councils throughout England and Wales use the product to help monitor and regulate building controls. Drain Inspection
